Connect computers using a Serial Cable

Connection between computers by serial cable is a  technique that can be applied when recycle old gadgets for new reasons. It is a technique that you can use to allow a route of interaction between the computers. When regular technique of networking media with RJ45 Ethernet Networking media is not available

First a wire/cable must be purchased and attached for the connection.

Enter the wire/cable to each of the computers via the Serial slot. It is essential not to get confused between the "Serial Comms slot” and the "USB Port".

Get started up a serial Communication program. Often individuals have a windows OS by Microsoft company and by a typical the most used program for this is Hyper Terminals.

Select the appropriate Serial Port from the File/New Connection selection item

The two computers are now linked basically and an international direction has been designed between them. 

You can now deliver written text figures between the computers using the Hyper Terminal program.
