Maintain Virus Guard Properly

Virus guard is most important to protect our PC from dangerous viruses, worms, Trojans, spywares and Malwares.

There are lots of virus guard softwares available in current market. Such as Avast, AVG, Avira, Kerspersky,Norton, Panda, Bitdefender etc...

So if we want to protect our computer from virus we have to install any of the virus guard to our PC / Laptop






Here i am going to show you How to maintain the Avast Virus Guard

This is the Avast Software's Home Page. Make sure your virus guard is in Secured

To scan your computer Click Security Tab - Scan Now

Its better you scanning your system at-least once a week. In your system if there any Viruses, those will remove 

You also can update your software in Avast virus guard. There will show which of your software is up to date or update available. So here you can easily update your software.

To update software Click Security Tab - Software Updater - Update Now

When you browsing Internet if you feel some sites are not good or there are viruses or suspicious  activities or if you heard some sites will harm to computers, etc... you can block those sites. This will protect you from dangerous hackers and viruses.

To Block Sites Click Security Tab - Tools - Tick Enable Site blocking - Type the URL to block - Add

You can Run your PC in SafeZone.

To Run Safe Zone Click Security Tab - Tools - SafeZone (Return to the normal Desktop click Switch back)

You can clean your browser in Avast.
To clean Click Security Tab - Tools - Browse Cleanup - Start avast Browser Cleanup NOW

After your Installed browsers will show. Click on the browser which you want to cleanup - Disable

To Update Your Avast 
Click Maintenance Tab - Update engine and virus definition and Update Program

Accept i have mentioned above there are other settings also there

To change your Settings Click on settings

Now you can see settings window. In here there are various things can do

Some time you may need to disable your virus guard temporally to install some kind of software or something. 
To Disable Virus Guard Temporally 
Click on the small arrow appear in your start bar

 - Right click on Avast Icon - avast shield control - Disable
