Connect Two Computers using Ethernet Cable

If you want to transfer large files such as Video files, movies, software from one computer to an other  computer or a laptop there are some methods to transfer. Such as using flash drive or writing  to a DVD or copying  to memory chip etc... But it will take more time and energy. If u connect directly via Ethernet cable you can share files, networks, etc... very quickly and also you can access files which were saved in different computers and you can watch videos  from your PC which were saved in another PC. So here I am going to show you how to connect two computers or Laptops using Ethernet Cable.

Confirm that you have a cross over Ethernet cable. A cross-over Ethernet cable is needed in order to attach computers with Microsoft company windows OS, whereas a conventional Ethernet cable will only set up a connection between your personal computer and router.

Plug each end of the Ethernet cable into an Ethernet program slot on each computer in order to attach the computers together with the cable.

In Windows OS

Go to "Start" and select "Control Panel"

Select "Network and Sharing Center"

Select “Change advanced sharing setting”

Click on the concept that encourages you to change the program development and computer file sharing configurations, then simply select the option that flows, "Turn on Network Discovery and File Sharing Settings"

Now both of your computers will now be noticeable in the Network and Discussing Middle screen, and you will have the capability to share information and other resources.

In Mac OS

Plug each end of a conventional Ethernet cable into the Ethernet slots on both computers. If one or both of your Mac PCs do not have Ethernet slots, you may be needed to use hardware (USB) to Ethernet plugs.

Go to one of the computers, and then begin the "Apple" selection.

Select "System Preferences" from the choices offered, and then choose "Sharing."

Take note of the PC's name from within the "Sharing" selection.

Go to your other computer, and get around to "Finder" The "Finder" is a square-shaped symbol located in the docking station of your Mac, and appears like a pair of encounters.

Select "Go," then simply just click "Connect to Server" in Located.

Click on the button marked "Browse" then double-click the name of the other computer that shows in the screen.

A relationship will then be established between both computers, and you will now have the capability to share information.
